Faster Pussycat – 40 Years Tour 2026 – Gebäude 9-Köln

Taime Downe, backed by a four-piece band, raised the heat at Gebäude 9 in Cologne. The band took the stage after a 37-minute stage reset, facing a densely packed audience filling the first 10–12 rows, while the back of the already overheated room remained noticeably more open.

They kicked off with their latest single, released in May 2025, before moving through a selection of songs from their four studio albums. The performance was loud, raw and hard-hitting, with fists regularly raised in the air as the Monday-night crowd showed its support.

The 61-year-old singer, performing under the artist name Taime Downe, delivered the vocals from behind the microphone stand, often gripping the mic with both hands. His voice was still there, instantly recognizable and carrying the distinctive character that has long been associated with his performances.

When choosing a professional stage name for the rock scene, he paired the nickname with the last name “Downe” so it would phonetically pun into “Tie me down,” matching the gritty, provocative aesthetic of the 1980s glam and sleaze metal scene.
