KAMIJO – European Tour 2026: Sanctuary of Europe

KAMIJO is a Japanese singer and composer best known for his elegant, theatrical visual kei style and his work as the leader of Versailles, where he helped shape a distinctive blend of symphonic rock, metal, and baroque-inspired grandeur.

His music draws heavily on European history, particularly French aristocracy, as well as themes of romance, nobility, tragedy, and vampire mythology. As a solo artist, he has expanded these ideas into an elaborate musical universe in which fashion, storytelling, and performance are inseparable from the music.

If you haven’t experienced KAMIJO live before, don’t expect a straightforward rock concert. His shows are closer to rock opera—elaborate stage costumes, operatic vocals, cinematic arrangements, and story-driven performances combine to create an atmosphere of a gilded royal court. Songs such as “Symphony of the Vampire” embody this approach, bringing together symphonic rock and theatrical storytelling while drawing the audience into his fictional world.

It is the culmination of a career spanning decades, from his 1999 major-label debut with LAREINE, through the symphonic-metal grandeur of Versailles, to more than a decade as a solo artist. Throughout it all, KAMIJO has remained committed to a singular aesthetic world where music, fashion, history, and mythology exist as one.
