HALLOWS, a Los Angeles-based dark electronic duo blending 80s-inspired synths, goth, and post-punk energy opened for the Canadian Actors in Club Volta, Cologne, Germany.
HALLOWS is consisting of musicians Vanee Dusoruth and Dom Rolando. Originally from the African island nation of Mauritius, the pair met and discovered DIY underground music as international students in the American Midwest before officially forming the band in 2019. They released three studio albums up to date.
Vanee and Dom bring a high-energy, physically committed performance to the stage, taking turns in lead vocals. The 30 minute set had that 80’s flavoured synth-pop / dark synth crossover feel.
