Perzonal War 1996-2026
Founded in 1996 by Martin Buchwalter and Metti Zimmer, the Troisdorfer Metal Band Perzonal War 2026 celebrates its 30th anniversary!
Discovered by Rock Hard magazine during one of the first “unheard-of actions”, the band signs the first record contract a short time later. Many national and international shows (e.g. Chicago Powerfest USA, Sziget Festival Hungary, Summerbreeze Open Air, Rhein-Kultur Festival) and eight regular studio albs later, the band is still firmly anchored in the underground. When asked if it’s not annoying to never have made the big breakthrough, the band answers: “Better to have the stamp as an eternal underground band, but to be able to stand behind what you do 100% with fun, is more important to us than commercial success.”
And it’s also about fun on 21.11. in Siegburg. Because 30 years of metal want to be celebrated.
As special guests are the Bonn based band “Grufflo” and “Ledfield” – the band around the former Perzonal War guitarist Sascha.
