English singer-songwriter Rose Betts brought her mix of acoustic indie pop and folk to the stage of Sound of Nashville Open Air 2026, drawing on the strong Celtic influences that characterize her sound.
She performed with a bass player, who also added backing vocals, while Betts moved between acoustic guitar and keyboards. The relatively stripped-back setup placed the focus firmly on her voice and songwriting.
The set built steadily through songs including “Driving Myself Home,” “You Never Looked Back,” “Save Me A Seat,” “Rocket” and “Doodle,” each finding a warm response from the audience. The atmosphere reached its high point with “Hot Girl Summer,” as Betts encouraged the crowd to join in, turning the song into a communal moment.
“Come Away” provided a fitting conclusion to the hour-long performance, bringing the set to a close on a more reflective note.
