10 Years opens for Black Stone Cherry with a high-energy 30-minute set
American alternative metal/rock band 10 Years opened the night with a solid, melodic and engaging 30-minute set. Led by the intense and charismatic stage presence of frontman Jesse Hasek, the band quickly established a strong connection with the packed room.
Their emotional, atmospheric take on post-grunge translated particularly well to the live setting, combining heavy guitar work with soaring melodies and a powerful vocal delivery. The energy level they generated went well beyond what is normally expected from an opening act.
Despite having only half an hour to work with, 10 Years made a convincing case that they are ready to step out on their own and headline a tour.
