Stella Lefty is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter who has garnered global attention with her emotionally charged songwriting. Stella Lefkofsky began writing her own songs as a child, though she hadn’t originally planned on a music career, opting instead to study public health. It wasn’t until 2020—while navigating a bout of depression during a semester abroad in Amsterdam—that she started sharing her early songs on TikTok. Following initial viral success and a growing following, she focused on music after graduating from college, independently releasing her first singles, “Kiss Me” and “Stay.” Her debut EP, *Tragic, Really*, followed in 2025. In 2026, she made her comeback with the single “Thinking ‘bout You” and contributed the song “The Kill” to the soundtrack of the film *Scream 7*. Atlantic Records signed the singer and—with the release of the single “Boston”—laid the groundwork for Stella Lefty’s country-pop sound to achieve a major breakthrough. Following the release of her second EP, *Is This Heaven?*, her debut album *Long Way Home* arrived on August 21, 2026. Alongside standout tracks like “Thinking ‘bout You” and “Boston,” songs such as “Something To Lose,” “I Know I Know,” and “Slow Dancin’” emerged as fan favorites; one week after the album’s release, the artist had reached over 17.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify—a figure that continues to rise.
