Singer Hannes Braun announces his retirement from the stage – three major farewell concerts planned for 2026
In an emotional statement shared on social media, the charismatic frontman of the internationally successful rock band KISSIN’ DYNAMITE addressed his fans: “I will be stepping down from the rock ‘n’ roll stage and will no longer be the voice behind the mic for KD.”
The singer cites his health as the reason for his decision: “Over the years, this specific touring lifestyle has taken a significant toll on my health,” he writes in his statement.
The news is likely to bring tears to the eyes of the band’s fanbase, given the strong bond that has developed between the group and their fans over nearly two decades.
However, Hannes Braun offers reassurance: “I will remain the songwriter, the producer, and—if you will—the captain of our ship,” he explains.
In the autumn of 2025, following sold-out shows in Japan, Brazil, and the USA, the five-piece band will tour Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as part of their ‘BACK WITH A BANG World Tour – Part II’.
