Eivør at Live Music Hall in Cologne

As an international artist whose captivating work bridges ancient tradition and contemporary sound, Eivør stands out as one of the most distinctive voices in the Nordic music scene. In February and March 2027, this exceptional Faroese artist will tour Germany for eight concerts, with stops in Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, and Cologne; a concert in Hanover has now also been confirmed.
Raised in the Faroe Islands, singer-songwriter Eivør Pálsdóttir’s work is deeply shaped by the rugged landscapes and communal vocal traditions of her homeland, where music serves as both ritual and everyday expression. By blending Nordic folk music, cinematic composition, and modern ambient electronic and alternative influences, she has created a genre-defying body of work comprising eleven studio albums. Her songs move effortlessly between dark, primal power and delicate elegance, combining raw vocal techniques, atmospheric textures, and rhythmic intensity to craft captivatingly beautiful soundscapes. These have earned her a global fanbase and the 2021 Nordic Council Music Prize—a testament to her unique artistic voice and her contribution to contemporary music.
Beyond her solo career, the Faroese artist has made an international name for herself composing for film, television, and video games. Her ethereal voice and compelling songwriting have helped shape the expansive, emotional soundscapes of soundtracks such as *The Last Kingdom* and *God of War*, reaching audiences far beyond the music world.
Following the acclaim for her 2024 album *ENN*, Eivør is now ushering in a new chapter with the release of the single “Healer” and a move to the Nuclear Blast label—delivering a sound that is more direct, intimate, and sonically focused, yet loses none of its depth. Characterized by extraordinary immediacy and physical presence, the impact of her music is unmistakable, especially in a live setting. At her concerts, the artist transforms her works into powerful stage experiences marked by exceptional intensity and emotional depth. Following extensive tours across Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, German audiences can now also experience Eivør’s magic. After her summer 2026 shows, the musician will return to Germany in early 2027 for a series of eight concerts. She will be accompanied by Rabbitology, an act that weaves poignant stories into fantastic soundscapes.
