Holly Humberstone’s tour, originally scheduled for September 2026, has been postponed due to illness. Rescheduled dates for all four concerts have now been set for January 2027. Tickets already purchased remain valid for the new shows.
On April 10, Holly Humberstone released her second album, “Cruel World,” via Universal Music—the long-awaited follow-up to her debut full-length record. The 26-year-old British artist, who gained global recognition for her remarkable songwriting talent as early as her first EP, “Falling Asleep at the Wheel,” continues to impress on this second album with a timeless alternative-pop sound. The record sensitively explores and harmonizes the inherent contradictions between the pain and pleasure found in love. The single “To Love Somebody” brought Humberstone into the spotlight on *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon* and earned her airplay on German radio stations, including NRJ, YouFM, 1Live, Radio FFH, Bayern 3, FluxFM, and egoFM.
This second album—a collection exploring romantic, platonic, and feminine love—follows her 2023 debut, “Paint My Bedroom Black.” That first record was crafted in hotel rooms while she was on tour, living out the dream she had held since she was a little girl: to become a successful, professional singer. She received an Ivor Novello Award nomination in 2022 and, as a testament to her hard work, went on to win the 2022 BRIT Rising Star award—a milestone she celebrated by performing “London Is Lonely” live for an audience of millions during the BRIT Awards ceremony.
Her live career has been equally impressive: Holly Humberstone performed as a supporting act in London at Wembley Stadium—a venue with a capacity of nearly 100,000—for none other than the biggest pop star of our time, Taylor Swift. She has toured extensively with acts such as Olivia Rodrigo, Girl in Red, and Sam Fender. Meanwhile, she has reached the point where she can sell out large concert venues across the United Kingdom on her own. This year, Holly Humberstone also performed her soulful pop ballads at festivals including the Golden Leaves Festival in Darmstadt and Coachella in California. In early 2027, the British artist will bring her live show to Cologne, Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg—concerts that are not to be missed.
