Jake Bugg – Alamo – Solo Acoustic Tour

Jake Bugg’s career could hardly have gotten off to a better start. When he released his self-titled debut album, ‘Jake Bugg’, in 2012, his sound—a blend of indie-folk and rock—not only stormed the top 10 of the German album charts but also secured his first and, to date, only number-one hit in the UK, where the album remained on the charts for over 100 weeks. With tracks like “Lightning Bolt” and “Two Fingers” (both certified platinum in the UK), as well as “Simple As This” and “Broken,” Jake Bugg established standout songs that sit alongside collaborations such as “Be Someone” with CamelPhat. Furthermore, Jake Bugg has released five additional albums in recent years, four of which also debuted in the top 10 of the UK album charts. In April 2027, the 32-year-old Brit will bring his UK and European tour to Germany for three shows. As part of the “Alamo – Solo Acoustic Tour,” he will perform at the Gloria in Cologne, the Technikum in Munich, and the Heimathafen Neukölln in Berlin.

Jake Bugg grew up near Nottingham and began playing the guitar at the age of 12 after his uncle introduced him to the instrument. At 16, he started writing and performing his own songs, quickly garnering significant attention. Following this explosive career launch, Jake Bugg became one of the UK’s most hyped new artists. By the age of 17, he was already performing at the Glastonbury Festival, receiving regular airplay on BBC radio, and signing a four-album deal with Mercury Records (Universal Music). After supporting acts like The Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher and successfully releasing his debut album ‘Jake Bugg’ (2012), he followed up with his second album, ‘Shangri La’, in 2013, cementing his international breakthrough. That same year, he was honored with the “Best New Act” award at the Q Awards. “On My One” was released in 2016, marking his third consecutive top-5 album on the UK charts. Following his fourth album, “Hearts That Strain” (2017)—a largely minimalist singer-songwriter record—Jake Bugg featured on Tinie Tempah’s song “Find Me” and scored another hit with the CamelPhat collaboration “Be Someone.” His fifth album, “Saturday Night, Sunday Morning,” returned him to the UK top 3 in 2021 with a sound that was bluesy yet pop-oriented. In 2024, he released his latest album, “A Modern Day Distraction,” which saw him return to an indie sound infused with rock and pop influences.
